Personality: good-natured, sociable, ambitious. He enjoys the company of others, especially if they happen to be a pretty lioness. Has a deep-rooted fear of being alone which has manifested itself as a desire to protect others.

Background Story: Dakarai was born into a pride on the other side of Ethiopia. Most of the pride was killed by poachers when Dakarai was a year old, but he and two of his sisters, along with one of the alphas, survived and began a trek across the plains looking for life. Dakarai thought of himself as their protector, but one day as the lionesses were off on a hunt they were met by the same poachers who had killed the rest of the pride. One of his sisters and the alpha were killed instantly, but his sister Ayodele escaped after being shot. Dakarai was unable to forgive himself for the tragedy, and since then has taken it upon himself to protect everyone close to him.
