Kaen Returns!

(This is a REALLY old drawing but it will do as a stand-in until I can get a new (read: better) picture done)
Name & Meaning: Kaen (Kay-in) It means flame but I don’t remember in what language xD
Symbol & Meaning: None
Species: Lion
Relationship: Member
Sex: Male
Age: 23
Rank: Was the previous Rook of the West Mark, currently an Alpha's Protector
Mark: Hidden Kingdom (West)
Sire: Unknown
Dam: Unknown
Siblings: Aisu (his brother; deceased)
Mate: Nuri (Possibly deceased)
Cubs: Zere-Kaen

(All three were left with their mother; possibly deceased.)
Unique Traits:
1 - Black “tattoos” under eyes
2 - Flame mark on left foreleg
3 - 6 earrings in each ear and a nose ring on left side
4 - Flame like markings on all four paws, under belly and tail tip
5 - 6 metal bands around his tail
6 – Pupil-less eyes that are blue though he is not blind.
7 - Tuft and ridge of mane but no actual mane even though he is a full adult.
8 – Has the ability to manipulate fire, when under stress his flame markings “catch on fire”.
Abilities: When under extreme stress his flame markings “catch fire” though he can not control this ability or the fire it creates it does allow him to have a “weapon” Only the flame markings on his body are impervious to flame, though only when his are “on” the rest of him is susceptible to burns.
Personality: Kaen is smart, and he has gained a lot of wisdom in his life. He likes to help others and is a kind soul. He is often sometimes brutally blunt in his quest to remain truthful. He is a very private lion and tends to keep his problems to himself.
Background Story: Kaen’s past was a long journey. He was an orphan at a young age and knows very little of his past before he became a teenager. He spent most of his life wandering before meeting the pride. His previous time with the pride was primarily joyous. He truly found himself a home full of loving friends and then family. He grew very close with Nuru and Kayode pretty early on and the three were very happy. He met his mate Nuri and both pairs remained close as families started. Unfortunately Kayode passed around the time of Nuri’s pregnancy and things quickly fell apart for the friends life became hard and torturous for Kaen and he fell into sorrow. Soon after Kaen’s fall into depression Nuri left taking the cubs with her. Kaen was a wreck with the loss of his closest friend and his beloved and children and soon left in search of his family and an escape from the sorrow and the memories that plagued him.
Kaen wandered the savannah for a long time but he never went too far from the pride. He was weak and alone when the brushfires hit. He was right on the western border of the pride lands when disaster struck. The fire was much faster than his aching body and before he knew it he was trapped. (I want to roleplay out what happens after this. I know the brushfire has been over for a while but there is an explanation for the delay.)
