Life Tree Mark

Shady Grounds

The vast shaded area underneath the Tree of Life. This is where many lions can meet, relax, and play. It's common to see Lions eating a meal, or cubs getting to stretch their young legs under the watchful gaze of adults.

The Canopy

The tree tops are very high in the air, completely out of reach of predators such as hyenas, cheetahs, and rogues. In the base of the tree is two options, a dirt path going downward, and a wooden pathway carved in to the tree, going upward. Going up the path will take you into the tree top. The branches create a large nest in the middle, with sturdy thick branches coming out. The branches are so long, and thick, that they are fully capable of protecting or holding many lions.

Underground Entrance

In the base of the tree is two options, a dirt path going downward, and a wooden pathway carved in to the tree, going upward. Going down the dirt path is the entrance that leads underground. A small entrance room leads off to a network of tunnels that are connected to private dens for the lions who inhabit Life Tree. This place is far too dark for even the best of eyes, but it is remedied by some natural neighbors. Little bio luminescent worms living on the dirt, and wood of Life Tree, create soft blue lights that dot the ceilings of the tunnels.

The Great Hall

After walking some distance underground, right underneath the Life Tree, is where the great hall lies. The concave ceiling is made up of the tree base, and it's stunning amount of roots. The hall is placed an estimated 50 feet underground, definitely concealing their scent, and numbers. This place is very big, and can hold all the members of the mark easily.

Judgement Circle

In the back of the Great Hall, is a large doorway that separates in to another room similar to a Courtroom. This is where lions can meet, and on certain occasions, lions are held in judgment for their crimes. Exiles will be forced out, chased to the edge of the territory, or further if the need arises.

Healer's Den

The Healer's den is a place for calm, and serene. All of Life Tree's sick, injured, or queen's are found here. The Healer's den is the size of six normal dens put together. Nests are made along the wall to make those who have to lay there, comfortable. The den is filled with all kinds of herbs, how anyone could keep track of so many is a mystery, A Healer's den is considered StarPride's territory, no fights are ever allowed to occur here.

Underground Dens

After going through the network of tunnels from the entrance, past the Great Hall, there is a rather large tunnel that branches out in all directions. These are dens, spread throughout the whole network of tunnels. Some are close together, some are more private, and some are guarded for Prisoners or New members. This is where all the lions of the mark can sleep, if they don't want to stay in the canopy, that is. Most of all the dens are also lit with the little bio luminescent worms.

Underground Spring

The network of tunnels coming from the dens meet in two areas, the Great Hall, and the Underground Spring. At the top of the high ceiling is a hole, made by the hollow body of an old tree, letting fresh air and sunlight enter. This area is a wide room with a large, but fairly shallow, body of water in the center. Here mark members can get a nice cool drink from the strangely clear water. There are strange fish of all type's that live in it's depths but none seem to be a threat.

Tranquil Cavern

Deep underneath the rest of the mark, one will find the Cavern of Tranquility. If any lion follows the a tunnel that carries water from Underground Spring, it leads down to this place. In the Cavern of Tranquility, the very end of the taproot to the Life Tree pierces the ceiling. This place is the center of all Life, it seems, without it the Life Tree would die. This is a good place for any lion seeking meditation, or reflection.
